LensXRay™ provides the most robust resume parsing capability available. It extracts facts from ordinary, free text resumes and returns them in the form of an XML standard document. In an average of under one second, LensXRay™ parses out over one hundred resume facts and creates an output mapped for direct upload into your database. In addition to fact extraction, the engine categorizes entities, recognizes multiple names for single organizations, jobs and skills and infers facts such as distances, durations, SIC codes, and occupational levels.

For example, dates are converted to both Julian and ISO-8601 formats, degrees are normalized, and locations are expressed according to conventions. In addition, LensXRay™ has robust capabilities for deriving data values, including address latitude / longitude, SIC codes, and position levels (e.g. non-exempt, management, director level, etc.), employment sequence, and time in job. And LensXRay™ can identify skills and roll them up to a fixed dictionary (which can be modified routinely by the client), even where the resume does not mention the standardized skill name.

How Does LensXRay™ Read Resumes?

We deploy patented neural network technology to identify candidate data directly from the resume with the highest degree of precision. Using a set of techniques called Statistical Natural Language Processing (SNLP), our artificial intelligence engine is able to read and understand resumes by making probabilistic determinations based on linguistic context and inference.

These algorithms are powered by data contained in our Knowledge Mine™, a unique repository of historical career data extracted from millions of hiring decisions. This is important because no two resumes are identical, either in format or content. To keep the model in tune with emerging trends, the Knowledge Mine™ is continually updated with new resumes.
