Matthew Sigelman, Chief Executive Officer

CEO Matt Sigelman: Burning Glass management teamMatthew Sigelman is CEO of Burning Glass Technologies, a leading labor market analytics firm. For more than a decade, he has led Burning Glass in harnessing the power of data to deliver artificial intelligence technologies that have helped fill millions of jobs. Burning Glass data drives initiatives for more than a dozen state and national governments, as well as educational institutions and major employers. Matt is consulted frequently by national media, by researchers, and the White House. He served previously with McKinsey & Company and Capital One. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard.

Joshua Ticktin, Chief Operating Officer

COO Josh Ticktin: Burning Glass management teamJoshua Ticktin is Burning Glass’s Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at M4 Financial, a developer of financial analytics technologies for real-time, automated business creditworthiness evaluation. While with M4 Financial, he led the design and implementation of the company’s processing operation as well as key product development and infrastructure functions.

Earlier, Josh created the marketing, credit, and operations blueprints for Capital One’s foray into a $70 Billion consumer finance business. He has also served as an equity analyst with Bulldog Capital Management, and as a consultant with Monitor Company.

Josh holds a BA with honors in History from Princeton University.

Charles Doucot, Vice President and General Manager, Human Capital Management

Vice President of Sales Charles Doucot: Burning Glass management teamCharles Doucot is Vice President & General Manager of Burning Glass’ HCM Business Unit. He leads our global team bringing innovative solutions to our customers that close the skills gap in the Talent Pool in order for the enterprise to successfully execute against their strategic business plan.

Charlie brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership to Burning Glass with rich experience in Data, Saas, HCM, Business Process Management and Analytics.  Spending the first 15 years of his career in various leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Company, Charlie led global teams in HP’s Technical Computing and Network Management Business’s and shared best practices on S/W Process and Metrics based on HP achieving SEI Level 5 status on the Capability Maturity Model developed by the Software Engineering Institute. Charlie also held leadership roles at Sybase, IDS Scheer and Kalido.

Charlie graduated Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and completed The General Manager Program™, an executive education program, at Harvard Business School.

Dan Restuccia, Chief Analytics Officer

Chief Analytics Officer Dan Restuccia: Burning Glass management teamDan Restuccia is Burning Glass’ Chief Analytics Officer, leading Burning Glass’s knowledge architecture and research divisions.

Prior to becoming Chief Analytics Officer, Dan served as Burning Glass’ Director of Applied Research. Dan joined Burning Glass following a decade in education reform, driving innovations that improve college and career success for young people.

While at Jobs for the Future, a national education reform and advocacy organization, Dan developed partnerships between high schools and colleges to improve college matriculations and graduation rates for low-income and at risk students. He has also served as a middle and high school math teacher.

Dan holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and Urban Studies from Brown University.

Dan Silverburg, Vice President and General Manager, Learning & Workforce

Dan SilverburgDan has over 20 years of successful commercial leadership experience driving profitable revenue through Business Development, Sales, and Marketing.  During his career he has been able to help Thomson/Reuters, The McGraw-Hill Companies, IBM/SPSS, and Cengage Learning achieve double-digit increases by building mutually beneficial relationships with partners across a variety of markets, most notably in education.

Most recently, Dan worked as the Chief Commercial Officer with Macmillan New Ventures, building and running teams, establishing best practices, and partnering with companies and organizations to create value.
