Matthew Sigelman, Chief Executive OfficerMatthew Sigelman is CEO of Burning Glass Technologies, a leading labor market analytics firm. For more than a decade, he has led Burning Glass in harnessing the power of data to deliver artificial intelligence technologies that have helped fill millions of jobs. Burning Glass data drives initiatives for more than a dozen state and national governments, as well as educational institutions and major employers. Matt is consulted frequently by national media, by researchers, and the White House. He served previously with McKinsey & Company and Capital One. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard.
Joshua Ticktin, Chief Operating Officer
Joshua Ticktin is Burning Glass’s Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at M4 Financial, a developer of financial analytics technologies for real-time, automated business creditworthiness evaluation. While with M4 Financial, he led the design and implementation of the company’s processing operation as well as key product development and infrastructure functions.
Earlier, Josh created the marketing, credit, and operations blueprints for Capital One’s foray into a $70 Billion consumer finance business. He has also served as an equity analyst with Bulldog Capital Management, and as a consultant with Monitor Company.
Josh holds a BA with honors in History from Princeton University.
Dan Silverburg, Chief Commercial Officer
Dan has over 20 years of successful commercial leadership experience driving profitable revenue through Business Development, Sales, and Marketing. During his career he has been able to help Thomson/Reuters, The McGraw-Hill Companies, IBM/SPSS, and Cengage Learning achieve double-digit increases by building mutually beneficial relationships with partners across a variety of markets, most notably in education.
Most recently, Dan worked as the Chief Commercial Officer with Macmillan New Ventures, building and running teams, establishing best practices, and partnering with companies and organizations to create value.
Dan Restuccia, Chief Product and Analytics Officer
Prior to becoming Chief Analytics Officer, Dan served as Burning Glass’ Director of Applied Research. Dan joined Burning Glass following a decade in education reform, driving innovations that improve college and career success for young people.
While at Jobs for the Future, a national education reform and advocacy organization, Dan developed partnerships between high schools and colleges to improve college matriculations and graduation rates for low-income and at risk students. He has also served as a middle and high school math teacher.
Dan holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and Urban Studies from Brown University.
